project consulting in the planning phase
We particularly recommend that you involve us in the initial planning phase of your company, before the first key parameters of the available resources have been determined.
Our basic approach to larger projects in the planning phase can be divided into these main areas
- Comprehensive project and requirements advice with analysis of the pros and cons for different machine and material types and expansion options through to detailed planning in the quotation phase. When you look closely, the cheapest total price offered by a provider is often not nearly as cheap as you think, as savings are made on relevant details, particularly in the area of control and automation. The elaborately designed visualization is often deceptive here, which is important in the end, but not crucial for the perfect interaction of the individual machines.
- Clarification of all the basic conditions that are aimed for in order to operate the system or machine. How many different operators with which technical background can realistically operate which type of machine and how often should they be replaced? What should the desired level of automation ultimately be and how is it defined?
- Creation of a precise specification in order to consistently communicate the framework parameters (performance, usability, emergency stop circuits and door security concepts, etc.) in advance and to be able to coordinate the entire system harmoniously. This often means that even small planning errors are identified in good time and can be rectified inexpensively before they cause significant costs later on.
- Analysis of savings potential without affecting relevant functions.
- Precise analysis of the product to be processed, transported or processed, in order to package and transport it safely and without damage. The selection of the appropriate gripper tool for a robot is crucial for the good and efficient functioning of the entire system, as is the selection of suitable storage locations and the question of what should happen if a line has to be stopped due to a malfunction. Do three other lines also have to stop because savings were made on the robot's safety circuit?
